Daily inspiration: Help Japan Remember Japan

Treasures found on Etsy: for Japan

Hello & happy monday my lovely readers!!!

How was your weekend? Spring has arrived, the sky is blue, the sun is shinning, temperatures are cool.

I teached my youngest daughter how to float in the water & she loves it, my oldest daughter spent the weekend improving her skills with her roller blading. We met with some friends to eat tipical portuguese snacks & drink beer. It was a nice weekend.

This week I decided to keep talking about the Etsy sellers who are trying to help Japan in this time of need by donating their proceeds to Humanitarian Organizations!
Do you have any gorgeous item yet to be discovered?

Daily find: let's HELP JAPAN

I found these amazing postcards on Etsy from martinrebello shop. This seller donates $3 from each sale to ShareLife’s Japan Disaster Relief Fund.

Yesterday I bought a Bamboo Charcoal Soap from MorningCalm & today I'll definitely buy my favorite postcard.

My sweet home: master bedroom #1.0

How are you today my lovelies?

I don't know if you're aware but a lot of artists on Etsy started to help Japan in this terrible tragedy, donating proceeds from sales to Non-profit organizations that would help Japan rise again. I will also be donating all the proceeds from my red items to Red Cross. If you would love to help take a few minutes to check out Etsy & my shop.

Today I'm going to show you some pictures from the before & during of our master bedroom. Let me just tell you that our bedroom was used as a spare living room by the prior owners, so we decided to devide the space, the smaller is now my studio {to be shown in a future post} & our bedroom.

Enjoy & talk to you again tomorrow

Although I'm a white decor lover we decided to add some color on one wall. We chose taupe because it goes great with a lot of color shades.

What colors do you have on your walls?

Daily inspiration: do you love cats?

I'm not a trend music follower & like a lot of the music from the 70's, 80's & 90's. The Cure are definitely my favorite band since I was fifteen or sixteen years old & I can assure you that my days of pseudo-gothic are long gone. Ok, ok, I keep my Dr. Martens boots :-)

I found The love cats video on YouTube but in a live performance in Japan that perfectly goes along with this fabulous Cat in the Garden Print from Natsuo Ikegami available on Etsy.

What about you my lovely readers! do you love cats? Do you live with cats? Are you allergic to cats?

Daily find: work of art in a Beret

Everytime I visit dadaya etsy shop I've to pick my jaw off the ground. She's an amazing japanese artist. This handmade wool embroidered beret is a piece of art.

I would love to buy one or all of her creations, I need to start saving because it's really worth the effort.
